Agenda Setting

The Agenda-Setting is a theory in Communication Science, which basically tells that the order the mass-media use to present stories is perceived by the audience as an index of their relative importance. This means: put a story on the first page of a newspaper and the next day everyone will be talking about it; put it on the 10th page and it will be barely noticed.
Knowing this, I can’t help wondering why a serious matter like the riots occurring these days in Paris are almost neglected by the italian media…
