ZenphotoPress 1.3

Come forse ricorderete, ho dovuto abbandonare il nome ZenPress per la mia plugin Wordpress+Zenphoto a causa di questioni di trademark.

Ho approfittato del rebranding obbligato per mettere mano al codice e rilasciare una versione compatibile con le ultime uscite in casa Wordpress e Zenphoto (rispettivamente WP 2.3 e ZP 1.1).
Compatibilità a parte, l’unica modifica apportata serve a facilitare la configurazione della plugin (la cui semplificazione estrema è sempre stata tra i miei obiettivi).

Senza porre altro tempo in mezzo, eccovi quindi la pagina di ZenphotoPress.

    Hello
    I can’t get zenphotopress to work - the options page doesn’t appear. I am using wordpress version 2.3.1
    Is there anything I can do?

    That’s a bit strange. Pardon me for asking, but are you sure you activated the plugin from the Plugin page in Wordpress?
    By the way, you can also find support on the Zenphoto forums ;)

    Yes I did activate it from the word press plugins section and there is even a button in the wysiwyg editor for posts but there are just doesn’t appear in the options section. I was wondering if it’s because it’s a more advanced version of wordpress than the one you tested it on? Thanks for the link to the forums.

    Ciao, in questi giorni in cerca di una gallery per wordpress mi sono imbattuto in ZenPhoto e ZenphotoPress, ottimo lavoro per il tuo plugin (nelle mie prove ho cozzato contro Gallery2 e WPG2, da mal di testa).

    Una cosa che magari ti può interessare, siccome sul mio sito utilizzo anche ThickBox, ho leggermente modificato il file funcion.js dove ho messo alcune condizioni per la scrittura del codice html per link ed immagini, così quando clicco su una thumbnail invece di apire la pagina di ZenPhoto mi visualizza l’immagine tramite ThickBox (in teoria con gli opportuni accorgimenti si potrebbe farlo funzionare anche con LightBox).

    Però al momento le prove le ho fatte in locale e sul sito come gallery utilizzo ancora MiniGal, nei prossimi giorni dovrei passare a ZenPhoto, appena completo un tema simile al sito.

    Eh si, l’integrazione con ThickBox/LightBox è una delle feature più richieste. Peccato che non abbia mai tempo di lavorarci su :\

    Cmq fammi sapere quando vai online e se ti va fammi anche sapere cosa hai modificato per ottenere l’integrazione con ThickBox ;)

    Just a field report for you. I have started using ZenPhotoPress on my blogs, and I love it! Thank you.

    I just recently upgraded to WP 2.5, and was bummed that I no longer saw the button when writing a blog. Well, this morning while playing around, I went to the HTML view, and guess what? There is a plain button marked ZenPhotoPress! Back in business.

    Thanks again for the great plug-in. I look forward to any updates you may have in the future.

    Yes: Wordpress 2.5 comes with a big update for TinyMCE (the rich text editor) and this is likely the reason why the ZenphotoPress button no longer appears.
    Glad to know everything else works fine, however. Thanks ;)
